Case Study: Recognising Employees with Long Service Awards
A large contributor to a happy workforce is not only rewarding success and achievements but by also recognising commitment. It is something that we are delighted to support companies and organisations with, through the manufacturing of bespoke crystal Long Service awards.
Here are a couple of examples of Long Service Awards we have been supplying for several years…
Kinaxia Logistics
Kinaxia Logistics is a group of companies that focus on the haulage and warehouse sector in the UK. With 11 companies now under the Kinaxia Logistics group, they employ around 1500 members of staff and operate 700 vehicles. With such a large workforce, employee benefits are a key factor in boosting motivation and teamwork. In March 2017 Kinaxia Logistics launched their Long Service Award scheme to recognise their employee’s dedication at 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 years of service.
The company came to us for premium products that would represent the commitment of the employee and symbolise the honour of the business. We experimented with a few options before deciding on set products for each milestone to make the order process as simple as possible for both us and Kinaxia. Each product is sand-etched with a logo and text to represent the relevant year, company and employee. The awards include wine and beer glasses, tankards and tumblers for up to 10 years, and various clocks, decanters and vases for 20 years or more.
The University of Southampton
Ranked among the top 100 universities globally, the University of Southampton is a founding member of the prestigious Russell Group here in the UK. Its reputation and the success of its students is a testament to the people, and this is recognised through a Long Service Awards scheme. The scheme celebrates long-standing staff members who have achieved 20 and 30 years of service.
Every two to three months, the University of Southampton commission us to provide premium crystal awards that will celebrate the important milestone that those members of staff have reached. The awards are supplied in the form of the Athena Medium Bowl and Curve Clock and are sand-etched with the University of Southampton crest. As additional gifts, we have also supplied the University with personalised decanter sets and vases.
